Mikzav Architects
Mikzav Architects is a design firm that creates spaces with a soul. At the heart of our work lies a deep belief in human connection, cultural sensitivity, and poetic form. Every project has its own inner rhythm — our role is to listen, interpret, and give it shape.

The Studio
Our team is a group of architects and thinkers who share a love for space, people, and ideas. Together, we explore the rhythm behind every project — finding harmony between intuition and precision.
Koby Zik
Koby Zik founded Mikzav Architects in 2015 with the vision of creating a leading practice that integrates diverse disciplines within the urban fabric of Israel.
Zik’s motivation to bridge different fields stems from his unique educational path and multidisciplinary background:
he studied music, theory, and composition — specializing in cello performance at the Jerusalem Conservatory; graduated with honors in Architecture from Bezalel Academy; and completed a Master’s degree in Philosophy with highest distinction at Tel Aviv University (where he is currently pursuing his PhD).
Alongside his professional practice, Zik has been teaching in academia for over 15 years, in a wide range of subjects including urban design, thematic design, technological design, and morphology.
The studio combines multiple disciplines within architecture and specializes in the design of public and educational buildings, commercial projects, and urban planning — alongside residential design and interior architecture.
